Chanel Cruise 2012/13 harks back to the magic and frills of the18th century, set against the backdrop of Le Chateau de Versailles. It seems as though Marie Antoinette found herself a portal and landed in 2012 wearing the same garb, yet laced with a modern punk veneer. Chanel's classic tweeds and pearls, amplified by short coloured crops, signature beauty spots, bows, brocade and creepers make the collection a total amalgamation of everything from the time, fit so eclectically, yet oh classically. Character dressing at it's finest. Wouldn't I like to run around as the Queen of France, head to toe in Chanel! (Yep)
